Thank You Letter
Dear Participants of the PHM Asia Pacific 2017;
I hope everyone has returned home safe and sound.
It was my great pleasure and honor to have hosted the PHM Asia Pacific 2017
during July 12-15, 2017, in Jeju, Korea. On behalf of the Organizing Committee,
I wish to express my sincere thanks for your proactive participation and
involvement in the conference.
More than 380 participants, sponsors and exhibitors attended the
conference from 17 countries. Altogether 206 papers were presented in the
technical sessions. The special sessions including the short course, 5
tutorials, and 5 panel sessions were also held successfully. I hope that all
participants had a meaningful time listening to the presentations and having
fruitful discussions on scientific and technological issues with experts from
all around the world. I also hope that the conference provided you with a good
opportunity to build up lasting friendships with many participants.
I owe greatly to the Session Chairs for their efforts in
managing the sessions. Also, I wish to express my gratitude to the Keynote,
Invited, Short Course, Tutorial Lecturers, and Panelists for their valuable and
informative lectures. Finally, I would like to extend my thanks to the Local
Organizing Committee members. The conference would not have been successful
without their support and devotion.
The photographs taken during the conference are now available
for download on the conference website at Download Center: http://phmap.org.
Now, we left the journal publication processes, which are about
to begin soon. The authors should check out the Call for Papers of the
individual journal at http://phmap.org/submission/journal publication.
Also, the conference proceedings will be available after the
journal publication processes are completed. The secretariat will announce when
the proceedings are updated on the website.
Once again, I would like to convey my deepest appreciation for
your contribution and wish you good health and happiness in the years ahead. Following
the great success of the 1st PHMAP 2017, subsequent PHMAP
conferences will take place biannually around the cities in Asia and Australia,
which will help promoting the techniques and make the PHM communities more closely
connected. I hope to see you all again
in the next PHMAP or related areas in this perspective.
With best regards.
Joo Ho Choi
General Chair of PHM Asia Pacific 2017
